What We Do
Using Disc Golf to Educate, Empower and Connect.
How We Help
Grants, Education, and Partnerships That Grow the Game
At the PDGA Foundation, we harness the power of disc golf to educate, empower, and connect communities worldwide. The Foundation provides direct grant support and educational programming—partnering with leading youth initiatives like EDGE and UPlay, backing scholastic growth, and funding international development through the Marco Polo program. By championing youth participation, environmental responsibility, global development, and diversity and outreach, the Foundation turns community passion into lasting global impact.

International Initiative // Marco Polo Program
Revitalizing Athletic Space in Addis Abeba
In Ethiopia, the Marco Polo international grant program supported the installation of a new, nine-hole disc golf course in the country’s capital, Addis Abeba! This course installation was a critical element of rebuilding the sport after COVID-19 and the country’s subsequent civil war, and will serve as a cornerstone for series, national, and continental championships in the region.
“While much progress has been made, there is still significant work to be done to grow disc golf and increase community participation. Moving forward, our primary focus will be on sustainability and forging partnerships with local and international organizations to support our mission. Through these initiatives, we have invested nearly $9,000 in revitalizing disc golf in Ethiopia.”
