About The PDGA Foundation

Empowering Communities, Growing the Sport.

Our Purpose in Action

The PDGA Foundation is proud to support disc golf around the world!

From supporting the installation of new courses in West Africa to launching disc golf clubs in Midwestern middle schools, the grants provided by the PDGA Foundation lay the groundwork for recreational disc golf for decades to come.

Our Mission

The PDGA Foundation’s mission is to foster, educate, and promote sustainable disc golf communities in countries around the world.

Strategic Pillars

Goals

The PDGA Foundation is working towards specific goals in advancement of our mission:

Looking Down the Fairway

01

Global Course Development

To foster the development of sustainable disc golf communities in countries around the world.

02

Youth & School Education

To educate children, parents, teachers, and supervisors in school and community-based settings about the benefits of playing disc golf.

03

Environmental Integrity

To establish and encourage best practices for reducing the environmental impact of disc golf.

04

History & Heritage

To promote and preserve cherished historical and cultural disc golf documents and artifacts.

Built on Years of Impact

The PDGA and the PDGA Foundation

The PDGA Foundation houses the grant initiatives previously supported by the PDGA global organization. Now, these important programs can be supported by individual, tax-deductible contributions! The PDGA Foundation holds its own accounts, is overseen by a unique, appointed Board of Directors, and is managed by an Executive Director, Development Director, and certified accountant. All Foundation funds are maintained in separate accounts and directed exclusively toward the Foundation’s charitable mission and programs.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the PDGA Foundation creates new opportunities to support the global development of disc golf, distinct from the work of the 501(c)(4) Professional Disc Golf Association. Individual and corporate donors can now make tax-deductible contributions to directly support mission-focused programs and ensure transparency and long-term sustainability.
